Resort Rules
We want everyone to enjoy their vacation!
Thank you for choosing to stay with us! Please be considerate of neighbors and follow all rules and regulations:
Check-In Time: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm ($25 Late Check In Fee – 8pm-10pm & No check ins after 10:00 pm)
Check-Out Time: 11:00am
Clubhouse and Store: Our clubhouse, game room, lounge and store hours are seasonal. Please check hours of operation upon arrival at the clubhouse.
Respect Your Neighbor: Please do not walk, bike or drive through other people’s sites and please keep your possessions on your site.
Quiet Time: is from 10pm to 7am. Please refrain from any activity that could disturb the quiet enjoyment of our resort guests. The use of generators is prohibited during quiet time.
Occupancy: Our Base Rate covers 1 camping unit, 1 vehicle, 4 people and 2 pets.
There is a maximum of 1 camping unit, 2 vehicles or trailers, 6 people or approved by management and 3 pets per site.
- Extra vehicle fee $10/night
- Additional person fee $10/night
- Additional pet fee $10/night
Guests & Visitors: Campers are responsible for their guests and visitors. All Visitors must register at the office. Day Use Fees for Visitors: Includes 1 car/family

- Children $5/person
- ABSOLUTELY NO VISITING PETS
Vehicles: 1 Camping unit and 1 vehicle are included with each reservation.
- All vehicles must display the parking pass from Reception during your stay.
- 1 additional pass per site may be purchased
- All ATV/UTV and the other large terrain vehicles are prohibited from USE in the park. The only 4-wheeled vehicles permitted to be driven in our park are your car, truck or adequately insured personal golf cart.
RV’s and Campers: Canyon View maintains aesthetic and maintenance standards for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests.
- All rigs must be well maintained with all systems in good working order.
- All rigs must be RVIA certified and manufactured within the last 15 years.
- Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis for retro trailers or other beautifully maintained rigs. Call (970)730-2600 to coordinate sending photos of your rig.
- No maintenance or construction projects without prior approval.
- If you need to wash your rig contact the office to purchase a wash permit.
Personal Golf Carts: You may bring your personal golf cart as long as you provide a copy of the Certificate of Insurance, insured to $50,000.
Speed Limit: The speed Limit is 5mph on all resort roads. Failure to obey resort speed limits may result in removal from the property without refund.
All Campers and vehicles, including golf carts are only allowed on the street and designated campsite parking areas.
Pets: We love pets! Pet Owners are legally responsible for their dog(s) at all times. Dog handlers must be at least 16 years of age. Pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after immediately, and may not disturb other guests. Pets may not be left unsupervised. Pets are NOT allowed in the bathrooms, clubhouse, laundry room or on the pool deck. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds or pets. You must register your pets. Two pets are included in your site fee. A $10/night fee will be charged per additional pet to a maximum of three (3). Any uncontrolled or aggressive behavior by your dog may result in your ejection from the Resort without refund.
Personal Dog Runs Sites: Provided Personal dog runs are intended for use only under owner supervision. Dogs using the dog runs must be cleaned up after, and may not disturb other guests. Personal Dog Run Privileges may be revoked if the rules are not adhered to.
Pool & Spa: THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Swim at your own risk. Persons under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Pool Rules are Posted on the door to the pool and poolside. The pool and spa are open Daily 10:00am to 8:00pm.
Campfires: Campfires are allowed only if the Fire Danger Level in Mesa County permits! It is your responsibility to check any Fire Restrictions. Fire Restrictions will be posted daily outside the office. Campfires are permitted 8:00am to midnight, only in provided fire rings. Please do not burn or leave trash in the fire rings. It is against the law. Please never leave a campfire unattended, and put it out completely before leaving your site or going to bed. We do not allow outside firewood due to pest concerns. For your convenience order firewood for delivery to your campsite by calling the front desk!
Site Etiquette: No carpet or other solid object on the grass. Absolutely no spikes or pins in the grass area to prevent damage to sprinkler lines. Sprinklers will come on each night – nothing should be left on the grass overnight. No temporary Pet Runs/Fencing on the Grass or Concrete Patio. Please keep your site neat. No food left outside please!
Sewer Hook-Up: All sewer hoses must be undamaged and sewer connections must be tight. This is a Mesa County Law. Replacement sewer hoses and sewer doughnuts can be purchased at the General Store.
Waste Water: The discharge of any waste water (septic or gray) is strictly prohibited by law. Violators will be subject to a fine, and possible eviction or legal action. Formaldehyde products are not permitted.
Trash: We have two dumpster locations for your use. In addition, our team members will pick up firmly bagged trash from the front of your site between 9:30 – 10am. Out of respect for others, and our wildlife, please do not put trash out for pickup before 9:00am, or leave any trash outside of your trailer at any other time.
Recyclables: Recycle bins are clearly marked, and are located at the North Entry dumpster location. Please Recycle!
Smoking: There is no smoking allowed at/in any public facilities, including all bathrooms and the sun deck. Dispose of all cigarette butts properly. There will be an extra cleaning fee of $50 assessed for sites with cigarette butt cleanup required.
Alcohol: Alcohol consumption is permitted at your RV site. Please enjoy responsibly. We are a family resort. Public intoxication, profanity and violence are not tolerated and are grounds for ejection without refund.
Prohibited Items: Fireworks, including sparklers and explosives of any kind and drones are strictly prohibited. Anyone caught with prohibited items may be asked to leave the premises without refund.
Damage to the Property: Any damage to grass, sprinklers, landscaping, curbing or any site amenities will result in a damage assessment being charged to your site.
Management reserves the right to refuse service or to eject anyone. Guests and their visitors use the resort at their own risk. Management and owners are not responsible for damage, injury or loss to persons, pets or property
